Dance Designer won’t launch following installation on my Windows 64-bit computer.

You may need to run Dance Designer in compatibility mode, directions below.

Windows 7

  • Right Click on the Dance Designer icon on your desktop
  • Select Troubleshoot Compatibility
  • The Program Compatibility window will appear
  • Select Try Recommended Settings
  • The computer tests for compatibility settings and display the settings recommended
  • Click Start Program to test the recommended settings
  • The Dance Designer Free Trial window will appear
  • Choose- Activate Dance Designer, Try Dance Designer or Buy Dance Designer
  • Click Continue
  • After Dance Designer has opened successfully, go back to the Program Compatibility window and Click Next
  • Click Yes, save these settings for this program and close the window.

Vista

  • Right Click on the Dance Designer icon on your desktop
  • Select Properties
  • Select Compatibility Tab
  • From pull down menu select Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
  • Under settings check Disable Desktop Composition
  • Click Apply
  • Click OK
  • Launch Dance Designer
